I was quite excited to hear that The Presets were coming back to Atlanta this Monday @ The Maquerade. I was even more excited to find out that I would be playing with them. You see, a few years ago, before anyone knew who they were. Before they had played with Cut Copy for a thousand people at Masquerade. I think I had a crowd of 100 people at the very first show, but I knew by the performance and reaction of the crowd, that the Aussie duo had big things coming.
I’ll be playing with The Presets and then I’ll be heading over to Halo for my Monday Industry Night. I highly suggest getting out early and staying out late to hit both events and making a whole night of it.
I’m posting my favorite remix I’ve heard of The Presets which is rather indicative of the type of set I’ll be playing at the show and the afterparty at Halo.
After reading this blog makes me want to start my own.
