OK… I have a confession. I only offered to make Dani a contributing writer in order to get the rights to post Pilotpriest’s remix of Run DMC’s “My Adidas.” The other day, we were talking online and she made the mistake of sending it to me. I immediately freaked out and begged her to let me post it. I won’t go into specifics of what I offered to do for this track, but let’s just say it involves some Crisco and a 2-liter bottle. I’m a little scared acutally.
This is hands down the best fucking remix of an old school hip-hop track I’ve ever heard. What is it about Toronto? Does the extreme cold cause the Canadians to be that much more awesome? I think it’s time we loosen up those border restrictions so we can start importing some of Toronto’s talent.
This track is going to make at least one person loose control of their bowels during my sets in Chicago this week.
